The Mayor has held discussions with key local authorities and confirms the updated information provided yesterday. The peak at the Fairbairn Dam spillway is still expected to be around 2.5m Tuesday Feb 7.

Revised River Levels - Emerald Feb 4 Midday

As a result of the rainfall yesterday and the night of Feb 3 in the upper Nogoa catchment, Council has revised the expected peak levels in Emerald. The new levels remain below minor.

While Council is expecting the forecast rain to cause minimal impact to the region, resources will be mobilised if required.
